Students of the Intensive Training Program

Parallel to PEI operation, efforts continued to attract foreign companies to integrate the cluster, and legal, educational and administrative models were outlined to generate a new higher education institution in the State, that could meet human capital training at various levels: from basic manufacturing to researcher level. This effort is consolidated by signing the Coordination Agreement for the Creation, Operation, Consolidation, and Financial Support acquisition for the National Aeronautical University in Querétaro (UNAQ) on September 28, 2007, and by the subsequent promulgation of the Decree for creating the National Aeronautical University in Querétaro (UNAQ), on November 23, 2007. UNAQ is a Government decentralized public organization in the State of Querétaro with its own legal personality and heritage, its facilities are located on a 20-hectare site within the Querétaro International Airport (AIQ), under the general direction of Ing. Jorge Enrique Leonardo Gutiérrez de Velasco Rodríguez, founding Rector of the institution.
