U-FLY

U-fly team is a group of TSU and Engineering students that design model planes. The first generation was in 2013, and they introduced their aircraft ARI in Toluca, State of México. Through the years, more people have become members to contribute with their exceptional skills, and most importantly, with their human quality for their project success. U-fly team carries out several activities inside the Workshop of Models and Prototypes facilities.

The team designs and manufactures an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, best known as UAV, capable of competing in the SAE Aero Design events, with special characteristics in aerodynamic, propulsion and function of the prototype. These competitions pretend to be an engineering exercise in real life, for both the graduated and the student. The competition has been developed to visualize the diverse scenarios that engineers face in a real work environment. First and foremost, it is a design competition, where students will find themselves carrying out tests to accomplish a design solution fulfilling the requirements of the mission, while additionally complying with the configuration limitations.

The team has shown, in each of its competences, great team work, and the high education quality of UNAQ as well as their motivation to win.
